C U Shah Sankara Nethralaya

C U Shah Sankara Nethralaya, a unit of Medical Research Foundation was started in the year 1989, at our St. Thomas Mount Branch, No. 8, G.S.T. Road, Chennai 600016.

The Out-patient services were expanded in the year 2004, to provide higher standards of eye care to residents of near by areas. In our endeavor to give complete eye care facilities, we have started the operation theatre in January 2006.

Cataract Surgery

Glaucoma Clinic

Humphrey Perimetry (HVF) for diagnosing and monitoring visual field loss in Glaucoma.

Diabetic Retinopathy Clinic

DBR for finalizing the power of Intra Ocular Lens (IOL) for the patients who undergo Cataract surgery.

Evaluation for computer users.
