Dr. Mona Khurana is a Senior Consultant in the Glaucoma department at Sankara Nethralaya. She earned her medical graduate degree with first position and a Gold medal in Surgery from Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla, in 1991. Following this, she pursued MS in Ophthalmology from Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana, and later completed a Fellowship in Glaucoma from Sankara Nethralaya. She also finished an observership in the glaucoma department at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Miami, Florida (USA) in 2013. She has made significant contributions to research, with a focus on various aspects of glaucoma including imaging, patient reported outcomes, and teaching and research methodology.
