A senior consultant in the department of Paediatric Ophthalmology and starabismus , Dr Akila Ramkumar has over 20 yrs of experience in the field of Ophthalomology . She is an Alumni of Stanley Medical college and underwent her Ophthalmic Master degree from Madras Medical College and subsequently underwent Fellowship training in the field of Paediatric Ophthalmology from Sankarara Nethralaya . She is an expert in the diagnosis of Paediatric eye diseases and management paediatric cataract , childhood and adult strabismus , Has keen interest in paediatric Neuro ophthalmology and management of Paediatric ocular trauma .
