Dr. V Jaya Prakash is a highly qualified and accomplished ophthalmologist specializing in Vitreoretina. He completed his medical education from prestigious institutions such as Madras Medical College, Chennai and AIIMS, New Delhi. With a wealth of experience gained from his tenure at Guru Nanak Eye Centre, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi and Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, he currently serves as a Professor & Senior Consultant in the Department of Vitreoretina at Sankara Nethralaya. Dr. Prakash is actively involved in academic pursuits, having published numerous papers, delivered talks at various conferences, is a reviewer for several journals, postgraduate thesis guide and mentor for fellows and has contributed as a co-investigator in drug trials. He is a member of several professional societies and has been recognized for his academic excellence with scholarships and prestigious awards throughout his career.
