Acquisition and dissemination of knowledge has been one of the founding principles of Sankara Nethralaya. We have always strived to share the rich knowledge and experience acquired at our Research labs and Wards through our various teaching and training centers, namely the Vidyasagar Institute of bio-medical sciences, C U Shah Ophthalmic Postgraduate Training Center, Elite School of Optometry and the Sankara Nethralaya Academy. Our courses contain highly researched study modules imparted by dedicated teaching personnel at well equipped and ambient class rooms
The Department of e-Learning at Sankara Nethralaya was established in March 2003 to provide
a centre of excellence focused on the development of
Ophthalmology, Optometry & other
sub-specialities of eye care.
Principally, the Department of e-Learning is responsible for sharing Sankara Nethralaya’s classroom sessions with institutes/clinics all over India.
